The story of a photographer:
I was raised in the small town of Franklin, IL - "Home of the world's BEST burgoo" but I swear my dad's is 100x better. Since i can remember, I have always wanted to be an interior designer. but...
In 2019 I began my career with the State of Illinois in the Department of Corrections. after 7 years i can honestly say that i love my job and more importantly, i love the people i work with. being a correctional officer is what i call my "real" job.
Another job that I have is being a mom! I am currently a mom to 2 little boys- Judd (4) & Banks (3) with a 3rd baby boy on the way! I've been married to my husband, Cole, for a year now and we also have 2 German Shepherds- Nevaeh & Chief, a long haired Dachshund- Mardi Gras, & a cat- P-Kitty.
if you know me, even the tiniest bit, you know i love new orleans. it is the city that stole my heart at a very young age and i travel there often! im an avid new orleans saints fan and i dream of the day that i'll get to relocate to the 504!
Being a mama, I found myself constantly picking up a camera or scheduling a session. There are so many milestones that I wanted to document! I decided why not just buy my own camera! I loved being the machine behind the camera. I was able to use my creativity while freezing such important moments in my life. & What started as a hobby, quickly became a business. I've been doing photography now for over 2 years & I fall more in love with it with every session I do.
I am so grateful to be where I am today. Thank you to every single one of you, even if you haven't had a session with me - just being here on my website means more than you know.
